To appreciate the complexity of the farm business
and the different nature of its problems compared
with other commercial businesses.
To promote an understanding of economic factors of
production and the factors which influence input,
output, consumer supply and consumer demand; with
special reference to Western Australian farming
conditions.
To develop an understanding of the types of sources of credit, the various
forms of financial protection and the general taxation requirements available
to, or demanded of the Western Australian Farmer.
To develop an awareness of the necessity for
requirements of and principles involved in an estate
plan.
To promote an understanding of factors affecting farm income, the constant
pressures leading towards low income farms and their consequent price support
schemes and assorted other remedies.
