Description
To provide the student with:
- a comprehensive appreciation of the role played by sheep
in the rural industry of Western Australia and Australia; the role of each
sheep breed to the industry; the husbandry practices required for the
successful management of sheep.
- the ability to recognise the distinguishing features of
each breed.
- the ability to understand the principles of practices of
breeding management and breeding in relation to wool production and prime sheep
meat production.
