Description
This qualification allows for the attainment of general competencies, with a particular focus on meeting the ethical and legislative requirements of the public service and gaining an insight into the response and operational services of the sector.

This qualification may provide a pathway into employment in diverse range of public services that could include the emergency response services, security and defense forces.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Additional qualification advice:
The resultant testamur will be titled: Certificate III in Government (Response & Operational Services).
Packaging Rules
Thirteen (13) units of competency are required for this qualification:
- four (4) core units
- nine (9) elective units
- choose one (1) elective from Group A Work health safety.

Generalist:
- a minimum of four (4) units from Groups B-H or from elsewhere within this training package

Choose the remaining electives from the list below or from elsewhere within this training package, or from another endorsed training package, or from an accredited course.
