Description
This qualification provides the first stage of training for a Deck Cadet embarking on a seagoing career. It includes the minimum pre-safety training requirements set out in the STCW (Seafarer’s Training, Certification and Watchkeeping) 95 table A-VI/1, as well as grounding in shipboard operations, navigation and seamanship.
