Description

The MSM10116 Certificate I in Process Manufacturing provides the competencies required for entry to the industry and addresses job outcomes at this level. It has been developed as a common certificate for use across the three process manufacturing sectors:
chemical, hydrocarbons and refining
plastics, rubber and cablemaking
manufactured mineral products.

Packaging Rules
To be awarded the MSM10116 Certificate I in Process Manufacturing, competency must be achieved in seven (7) units of competency:
- three (3) core units of competency
- four (4) elective units of competency, two (2) of which may be selected from this Training Package, other endorsed Training Packages and accredited courses, as specified below.

A maximum of one (1) unit may be chosen from units packaged in the MSM20116 Certificate II in Process Manufacturing.

A maximum of two (2) relevant units may be selected from this Training Package, other endorsed Training Packages and accredited courses, where those units are packaged in a Certificate I.
