Description
This qualification covers the skills needed to work at practitioner level in western herbal medicine. A substantial range of herbal medicine is included (a minimum of 130 herbs) as well as the skills required to operate a herbal dispensary.
Occupational titles for these workers may include:
Botanical medicine practitioner
Phytotherapist
Herbalist
Western herbal medicine practitioner
Herbal medicine practitioner

Twenty one (21) units of competency are required for award of this qualification, including:- twenty one (21) core units, comprising twelve (12) common units and nine (9) specialisation units
