Packaging Rules
Requirements for completion of the qualification:
A successful assessment outcome for a total 21 units, comprising:
(a) the 17 compulsory units
AND
(b) 4 other units made up of:
- at least 2 units and up to 4 units from the remaining units listed
- up to 2 suitable units ( aligned at AFQ Levels 3, 2 or 1) drawn with appropriate contextualisation from either other Transport and Logistics Certificate III qualifications, or other relevant Training Packages or Accredited Course.

Units can be packaged together to meet the specific supervisory, leadership and advanced technical needs of occupations while also providing options for multi-skilling.
(note that this may include basic units needed in an occupation which may also be packaged in a lower level occupation)

Importantly, the flexibility of packaging with the qualification framework must be considered within the responsibility of individuals, enterprises and/or registered training organisations to package units to meet the legislative

This training program is a representation of the qualification code TLI30907 taken from the Transport and Logistics Training Package TLI07 which should be consulted for full description of requirements. TLI07 is endorsed until 30 June 2010.

Traineeships and Apprenticeships
(TR07430) MOBILE CRANE OPERATIONS (LEVEL 3) Traineeship

In addition to the completion of the Certificate III in Mobile Crane Operations qualification, a person must also complete the Mobile Crane Industry Certificate Skill Set developed by the Department of Training and Workforce Development. The units of competency in the skill set must be completed in the sequence specified by the Model Program developed by the Crane Industry Council of Australia (WA Branch). Logbook hours must also be completed and recorded as specified by the same Model program.

Part-time hours are defined as a minimum of 20 hours per week.
