This qualification may be used as a pathway for workforce entry into indigenous environmental health work. At this level, work takes place under direct and regular supervision within clearly defined guidelines.

Packaging Rules
Total number of units = nine (9)
- five (5) core units
- four (4) elective units, consisting of:
- at least two (2) units from the electives listed below
- up to two (2) units from the electives listed below, any endorsed Training Packages or accredited courses - these units must be relevant to the work outcome

All electives chosen must contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.
