Description

This qualification is designed for mobile crane operation within the transport and logistics industry and other industries.
It involves a broad range of skilled applications applied in a wide variety of contexts.
Job roles:
Job roles and titles vary across different sectors. Possible job roles relevant to this qualification include:
mobile crane leading hand
mobile crane supervisor.
Successful achievement of the high risk work (HRW) and heavy vehicle licensing units in the qualification must align with licensing and regulatory requirements.

Packaging Rules
A total of twenty (20) units of competency comprising:

- thirteen (13) core units listed below, plus
- one (1) unit from Group A listed below, plus
- six (6) elective units from Group B general elective units listed below or from the remaining units not already selected from Group A.

Up to two (2) of the general elective units may be selected from any relevant nationally endorsed Training Package or accredited course. The general elective units must contribute to the vocational outcomes of the qualification.

Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisite units specified are complied with. Where a prerequisite unit is attached to a unit, it is identified on training.gov.au (TGA).
