Packaging Rules
12 units of competency are required for award of the qualification:
6 compulsory units plus
6 elective units

The electives may be selected as follows:
- all six electives may be selected from the list in the CPC50208 qualification outline
- two of the six elective units may be selected fro a Diploma qualification in another endorsed Training Package or within CPC08 Construction, Plumbing and Services Integrated Framework Training Package, ensuring the industry context of the qualification is maintained
- one of the six elective units may be selected from either Certificate IV or Advanced Diploma in CPC08

Additional units of competency may be required to meet builder registration requirements in various States and Territories
