1 Completion of the NMEC modules in this course will provide the learner
with the off-the-job component only. Competent performance will be achieved
when the learner can practise the skills and meet the requirements of
recognised competency schedules (eg. TTS).

2 CREDIT TRANSFER

Upon successful completion of the technical training section of this course,
the learner will be credited with the relevant modules in the Engineering
Tradesperson (Fabrication, Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic) and/or the
Certificate of Production Engineering.

3 CERTIFICATE OF PRE-VOCATIONAL STUDIES

To be eligible for the award of Certificate of Pre-Vocational Studies (Metals
and Engineering) the learner must reach a pass standard or competence in all
modules of the course.
