State Implementation and Classification
Description
To provide the knowledge and skills required for a student to gain employment
in an industry where marine skills are used.
To provide knowledge and skills that articulate with courses in the fishing,
marine, aquaculture and mariculture.
To provide a range of transferable skills that will allow a student to access
employment or further vocational education and training opportunities in areas
other than marine.

2 CREDIT TRANSFER
Upon successful completion of the technical training
section of this course, the learner will be credited
with the relevant modules in the Certificate of
Nautical Fishing, Certificate of Aquaculture or the
Certificate of Vessel Operations.

57028, 57034, 57035 67511 and 67512).
4 57023 Small Craft Proficiency (ME) may be substituted for 57113 Small
