State Implementation and Classification
Description
To provide trade studies in the Automotive Electrical Trade.
To provide the theoretical basis and the development of skills and safe working
practices commonly found in the Automotive Industries.
Upon successful completion of the technical training section of this course,
the learner will be credited with the relevant modules in the Certificate of
Engineering (Automotive Electrician).
Work Experience Real Work Program
Pre-apprentices are encouraged to attend work experience (Real Work Program)
for up to 240 hours per year. The work experience program is supplementary to
the award requirements of the course. The work experience program is to be
co-ordinated by the college with the approval of the Director of the college.
The mode of attendance is at the discretion of the college co-ordinator.
