GENERAL NOTES

The packaging arrangements of competencies in the Heavy Road Transport/Mobile Plant stream should ensure that a Certificate I qualification is obtained in both streams and that the total hours when added to the supplementary and
modular skills do not exceed 936 hours.

This training program is a representation of the qualification AUR10199 taken from the Automotive Training Package AUR99 which should be consulted for full descriptions of requirements. AUR99 is accredited until 30/08/2002.

1. This qualification is the copyright of The Australian National Training Authority. RTOs who wish to deliver this qualification must be registered by their State accrediting body.

2. Further information on this qualification is contained in the Training Package available from Australian Training Products Ltd, Tel: (03) 9630 9836.

3. This qualification was entered on to the CMS by the Training Products and Information Services 25/10/2000.

4. This qualification was changed to include the minimum/maximum hour statement under Group 5 & 11 and extra competencies were added to Group 11 by SEMC on 9/03/2001

5. Certificate I in Automotive. This qualification to include Core Units and three elective Units from any AUR
group.

6. This qualification was updated by TPIS to include Pre Apprentice ES pathways to be implemented in 2002.

7. This qualification was updated by QA & R to include new pathway ES37 as requested by SEMC on 18/12/2002.

8. E1033, E1036, E1128 & E1174 were added to ES29 Pre-apprentice(Family of Trades) to more adequately cover the three main automotive trades eg. mechanical, repair and refinishing. Changes approved by VET Teaching & Learning 15/7/2004.
9. This qualification was updated by METS CSSN. Some "A" version units were replaced with "B" version units on 31/01/2005.
