Description
To provide structured entry level training for people wishing to pursue a range
of occupations associated with the sport and recreation industry.
To develop entry level competencies necessary to:

apply a range of general education and work skills to obtain
employment and successfully participate in the world of work, particularly in
the sport and recreation industry.

effectively and efficiently manage and integrate the wide range of
aspects of their sporting career.

successfully manage a career in elite level sport.

Preparation and Application for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
(31295) 10.00 Hours
2 Due to the combination of on and off-the-job training for traineeship
programs, the learner hours indicated above have been modified in some modules
to provide a total of 400 hours off-the-job training. The Training Plan for
this program indicates the actual hours allocated for each module.
3 Through the RPL process trainees may apply for credits in any
accredited course in which they enrol. Credit transfer arrangements may apply
to the Certificate of Business -Office Skills.
4 This course is recognised under the National Framework for Recognition
of Training (NFROT).
