Description
To provide knowledge and skills in selecting cables for single and multiple installations up to 400 A per phase. Students will learn how to use AS 3008.1 to select cables based on current carrying capacity and voltage drop mV/A.m. Also students will be able to select switchboard equipment and plan the layout of switchboards for single and multiple installations up to 400 A per phase and including CT metering. In addition students will develop knowledge of the requirements for special installations and hazardous areas
