Description
To gain knowledge and understanding of the operation, application and control of three phase induction motors. Students will be able to determine power, torque, frequency and speed relationships of various three phase induction motors and select and connect a motor starter top suit given load conditions and local requirements. Also, students will be able to apply the AS 3000 requirements regarding motors and conduct tests to determine causes of malfunctions in motors and starters
