Description
Graduates of this qualification;
- Will attain the required specialised knowledge and technical skills through integrated application of learning in preparation to meet the examination requirements of the CASA up to a Commercial Pilot

Licence with specialised knowledge up to International Airline Transport Pilot (for either fixed wing or rotary wing aircraft).
- Will be able to apply the specialised knowledge and skills to execute correct judgments in complex and sometimes unpredictable situations based on broad range of technical, communication and analysis techniques.
Packaging Rules
To be awarded the Advanced Diploma of Aeronautics - Airline Transport Pilot (Rotary Wing), competence must be demonstrated in a total of twenty nine (29) units and modules:
- nine (9) core units of competence and
- seventeen (17) core modules and
- one (1) Mandatory Elective - Flying
and either
- one (1) unit of competence and
- one (1) module from Elective group “Flight Instruction”
OR
- two (2) units of competence from Elective group “Management”.
