GENERAL CORE
Learners commencing in 2003 complete ALL CORE from group below. Learners enrolled in NS18 need to complete BCG1000A, BCG1001a, BCG1003a and BCG1011a within a Plumbing environment context. Through either Credit transfers/RPL or Exemptions, the learner who successfully completes all assessment requirements within this pathway will meet the pass requirements of the first stage in 1412 Certificate III in Plumbing and Gasfitting.
Learners commencing in 2003 complete ALL CORE from group below. Learners enrolled in NS18 need to complete BCG1000A, BCG1001a, BCG1003a and BCG1011a within a Plumbing environment context. 4.
SKILLS PRACTICE. Learners commencing in 2003 to complete units from this group. Supervised Skills Practice is to be conducted under instruction in a simulated workplace to develop the skills outlined within the modules and competencies. Work placement is for the coordination and the supervision of learners in the workplace. Learners must have a Training Record Book or Diary of all outcomes and must have a satisfactory result for these modules/competencies. A minimum of 80 hours Work placement and a maximum of 200 hours is to be selected.

In order to facilitate a smooth transition from the previous 1456 Certificate in Trade Studies Plumbing & Gasfitting course to the (interim) 1412 Certificate III in General Plumbing and Gasfitting (and the expected BCS30102), pre-apprentices may select to complete the old modules 82416 P&G App 1A and 82417 P&G App 1B (320 hours),
OR,
the new group of Units of Competence from the BCS02 Training Package, identified by the "N" prefixed index number listed in Group 2 below (320 hours).
