GENERAL NOTES
Course hours for this qualification can vary from 180 for the base Core Units in the Certificate I in Construction (BCG10198), up to 600 when used as a Pre-apprentice course as shown in the pathways for each particular trade. The total enrolled hours, including any Units of Competence done separately from levels 1, 2 and 3, must not exceed the agreed funding hours.
Notes for Pre-Apprenticeship Pathways
To use this qualification structure for Pre-Apprentice delivery, refer to the particular pathway structure for the appropriate trade.
Statements of Attainment
The extra units required to complete the Pre-apprentice course can also be obtained
by enrolling the student into the relevant Certificate II or Certificate III. A
Statement of Attainment for that Certificate will be awarded indicating
completion of appropriate competencies.
Pre-Apprentice students that complete the assessment for any "3000 series" units of competence as a part of the pre-apprentice delivery, are to have their Statement of Attainment notated to advise that the unit was assessed at a Certificate I level.

4. This course was updated by Training Products Information Service during October 2001, to include the new Pre-Apprentice Pathways for the construction trades.
5. Pathway NS18 - Pre Apprentice Plumbing and Gasfitting was updated by Training Products Information Service (QA & R) during late January - early February (05/02/03.
