Description
This qualification reflects the role of Anaesthetic Technicians who work in consultation with, and under the direction of, anaesthetists, during the induction, maintenance and emergence phases of anaesthesia.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules
Total number of units = seventeen (17)- fifteen (15) core units
- two (2) elective units, consisting of:
- up to two (2) units from the electives listed below, any endorsed Training Packages or accredited course - these units must be relevant to the job outcome.
All electives chosen must contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.
