COMPULSORY TECHNICAL UNITS:

After successfully completing the requirements for Certificate I, complete a minimum of 6 units from the technical (elective) units in Group 1 and Group 2 below.
NOTE 1:
4 units from the compulsory technical units (Group 1) must be selected if proceeding to Certificate III plus two units from Group 2.
NOTE 2:
One AQF3 unit may be used for a qualification at AQF 2.
NOTE 3:
The unit MTMMP11B Sharpen Knives should be selected as an extra unit for learners working with knives.
