Description

This qualification reflects the roles of employees such as Driller’s Assistants working in well servicing. The Driller’s Assistant in Well servicing undertakes a prescribed range of functions involving known routines and procedures and takes some responsibility for the quality of work outcomes.
No licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules
Successful completion of twelve (12) units of competency made up of:
- seven (7) core units, and
- five (5) elective units of which:
- one (1) must be chosen from group A
- at least three (3) must be chosen from group B
- up to two (2) units may be chosen from Certificate II or Certificate III in this, or any other Training Package or accredited course.

Units chosen must be relevant to the job function.

There are no prerequisites to imported units listed in this qualification. Where a unit is imported as an elective care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisites specified are complied with.
