This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a range of specialist roles in the automotive manufacturing sector. This may involve undertaking a range of complex and non-routine tasks with substantial self-direction and judgement, including leadership of others.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Those undertaking this qualification are required to have completed AUM40113 Certificate IV in Automotive Manufacturing, or be able to demonstrate equivalent competence.

PACKAGING RULES
Total number of units = nine (9)
- three (3) elective units from Group A specialist elective units, plus
- six (6) elective units, of which:
- up to six (6) general elective units may be chosen from the general elective units list
- up to two (2) elective units may be chosen from a Certificate IV qualification or above in this Training Package or another endorsed Training Package or accredited course, provided that the units chosen contribute to the vocational outcome of this qualification and do not duplicate the outcome of another unit chosen for the qualification.
