Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in diverse areas of textile design, development and production. They may be involved in technical production or be small-scale designers and makers of textile products. People working in these roles use a broad factual, technical and theoretical knowledge of textile materials and processes to underpin sustainable and efficient work practices.
No occupational licensing or certification requirements exist at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules
Total number of units = eighteen (18)- four (4) core units
- fourteen (14) elective units, consisting of:
- at least three (3) units from Group A
- at least four (4) units from Group B
- up to seven (7) additional units from Group A, B, C or any endorsed Training Package or accredited course. All units must be relevant to the work outcome and not duplicate units available within this qualification.
