Packaging Rules
The requirements for awarding this qualification are that the following are successfully achieved:

All of the ten (10) Core competency standard units;
At least one (1) Stream Core competency standard unit;
A Unit Strand Total of at least two (2) of Elective Competency Standard Units as prescribed in Schedule 2. **The Electrotechnology Training Package UEE07 must be consulted for a list of units in Schedule 2and the Unit Strand value of units; and
All the required prerequisite Competency Standard Units have been met as required

Note:
1. Prerequisite pathways shall be identified and met for all elective units selected.
2. In selecting elective units considerations to career planning advice should be given to units that form part of a prerequisite pathway for the progression to achieve particular competencies or qualification at a higher level.
3. **In addition to Core units and Stream Core units (listed below in Groups 1 and 2) students must complete Elective units according to the rules given above.
