Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals employed in a senior management role within a correctional environment. It includes strategic planning and implementing or driving changes in justice services as well as providing high level leadership within correctional jurisdictions.
Individuals will use high level analysis to plan, develop and implement a broad range of leadership and management initiatives to achieve results in line with organisational goals and strategic directions.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules
Six (6) units of competency must be completed:- two (2) core units
- four (4) elective units
Three (3) elective units must be selected from the elective list below.
One (1) elective unit may be selected either from the list below or from elsewhere within this training package or imported from any other endorsed Training Package or accredited course, provided the selected units contribute to the vocational outcome of the qualification and do not duplicate content already covered. Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that any prerequisite units specified are complied with.
Where a pre-requisite unit is attached to a unit it is identified by this symbol ∟.
