Description
This qualification allows for the attainment of competencies in Defence intelligence operations including personnel working in operational roles, and undertaking and leading intelligence operations in a Defence or similar government environment.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules
Fourteen (14) units of competency are required for this qualification comprising:- Six (6) core units listed below, plus
- Eight (8) elective units.
-choose a minimum of six (6) elective units from the list below, of which one (1) elective unit must be chosen from Group A, three (3) elective units must be chosen from Group B and two (2) elective units must be chosen from either Group B or Group C.
- choose the remaining two (2) elective units from the elective unit lists below or from elsewhere within this training package, or from another endorsed training package, or from an accredited course.
All elective units chosen from outside this qualification must support learning outcomes of this AQF qualification level.
Elective units chosen must not duplicate content already covered by other units in this qualification.
Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisite units specified are complied with.
