To provide students with the appropriate knowledge
and methods involved with the following:

- identification and selection of equipment used in spray
and low volume irrigation.

- introductory concepts of designing an irrigation system.

- bores, wells and equipment required to raise the water
into the irrigation system.

- water quality, its importance and measurement.
