Description
Acquire a diverse range of skills to be able to project manage and coordinate the overall construction of low rise residential and commercial buildings, which may involve selecting contractors, overseeing work and liaising with clients. Please note that this course is based on Australian building codes and regulations. International students should consider if these regulations are applicable in their own country. You can continue your studies further, by applying for the CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building).
Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in:
- Nineteen (19) units of competency:
- Eleven (11) core units
- Eight (8) elective units.

To achieve the occupational outcome of Builder electives must include:
- All Group A elective units
- Up to two (2) elective units from either Group B or general electives.
- One (1) elective unit may be from any training package or accredited course as long as it ensures the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) alignment and contributes to a valid, industry supported vocational outcome
