Packaging Rules
12 units of competency are required for award of the qualification:6 compulsory units plus
6 elective units
A minimum of two and a maximum of four elective units may be selected from one field of work. The remaining elective units may be from any of the elective fields of work or the general electives.
The wide range of electives is drawn from Certificate III units of competency in CPC08 Construction, Plumbing and Services Integrated Framework Training Package. Units of competency from Plumbing and Services qualifications are not available, as there are different plumbing and services pathways to Certificate III outcomes.
