Packaging Rules
The requirements for awarding this qualification are that the following are successfully achieved:- All of the Core competency standard units;
- The required number of Stream Core competency standard units;
- In accordance with Schedule 2, achieve a Unit Strand Total of at least 6 as specified. **The Electrotechnology Training Package UEE07 must be consulted for a list of units in Schedule 2 and the Unit Strand value of units; and
- All the required prerequisite competency standard units have been met as required
Note:
1. Prerequisite pathways shall be identified and met for all elective units selected.
2. In selecting elective units considerations to career planning advice should be given to units that form part of a prerequisite pathway for the progression to achieve particular competencies or qualification at a higher level.
3. **In addition to Core units and Stream Core units (listed below in Groups 1 and 2) students must complete Elective units according to the rules given above.
