This qualification reflects the role of a team leader or senior technician in a sterilisation or reprocessing area. This worker is responsible for the maintenance of quality requirements and monitoring of technical sterilisation functions.

Total number of units = Fifteen (15)- Eleven (11) core units
- Four (4) elective units consisting of:
- up to four (4) units from the electives listed below, any endorsed Training Package or accredited course - these units must be relevant to the work outcome.
All electives chosen must contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.
