Description
This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in a range of general information and communications technology (ICT) technical functions and to achieve a degree of self-sufficiency as an advanced ICT user.

More specifically in this pathway students will gain skills and knowledge in: the foundations of server security, the foundations of network security, incident response, foundations of cloud computing, professional practice, and implementing and administering hardware devices.
Packaging Rules
Six (6) core units plus eleven (11) elective units (total seventeen [17]).

The elective units consist of:
- five (5) units from Group C Support;
- up to six (6) from any of the Specialist Elective groups or from group F - General Electives listed;
- up to three (3) from elsewhere in ICT Information and Communications Technology Training Package or any other Training Package or accredited course at Certificate III or IV level.
