Description

This qualification provides an occupational outcome in conservation and land management. Work would be carried out under general guidance and supervision.

The qualification enables individuals to select an Indigenous land management, conservation earthworks, lands, parks and wildlife or natural area management context as a job focus or a mix of these.

No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:
- fifteen (15) units of competency:
- two (2) core units plus
- thirteen (13) elective units.

Elective units must ensure the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome. The electives are to be chosen as follows:
- at least four (4) must be selected from Group A
- at least six (6) must be selected from the remaining units in Group A or Group B, or from the Prerequisite Requirements list if a unit is a required for packaging the qualification
- a maximum of three (3) units may be selected from qualifications packaged at Certificate II or III levels in this Training Package or any other currently endorsed Training Package or Accredited Course.
