Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals, such as an operator working in an underground metalliferous mine, who perform a range of mainly routine tasks using limited practical skills and fundamental operational knowledge in a defined context, working under direct supervision.

Packaging Rules
Successful completion of ten (10) units of competency made up of:- five (5) core units of competency, and
- five (5) electives units of which:
- at least three (3) must come from the Group A elective units
- up to two (2) units from Group B elective units
- up to one (1) unit may come from Certificate II or III level from this or any other Training Package
Units chosen must be relevant to the job function.
Care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisites specified within imported units, or units chosen as electives, are compiled with.
