Total number of units = nine (9)
- five (5) core units plus
- four (4) elective units of which:
- two (2) units must be from Group A
- two (2) units may be selected from remaining units in Group A, Group B, or any currently endorsed training package qualification or accredited course at Certificate II or III levels.

Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid vocational outcome.
