This qualification reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate own work and/or that of a team.

Packaging Rules
Total number of units = sixteen (16)- three (3) core units
- eight (8) Group A units
- five (5) elective units
Two (2) elective units must be selected from the Group A and/or Group B units listed below.
The remaining three (3) elective units may be selected from the Group A and/or Group B units listed below or any unit of competency from any endorsed Training Package or accredited course.
No more than three (3) Group A or Group B units previously achieved as part of another qualification may be counted towards the qualification. Electives must be relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and be at an appropriate qualification level.
