Description
This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in a range of ICT positions directly related to testing, either as an assistant tester working mostly independently or as part of a team.
Job roles
Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include:
assistant ICT tester
assistant software or systems tester
assistant web tester.

Packaging Rules
Total number of units = twenty (20)- eight (8) core units plus
- twelve (12) elective units
The elective units consist of:
- up to twelve (12) from the elective units listed below
- up to four (4) from elsewhere in ICA11 or any other Training Package or accredited course at Certificate IV or Diploma level.
The elective units chosen must be relevant to the work outcome and meet local industry needs.
