Description

This qualification provides a general vocational outcome for a nurseryperson working in a production nursery. The nursery industry expects this qualification to be achieved to meet job outcomes at this level.
Job roles and titles covered by this qualification may include:
production nursery tradesperson
No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:
- sixteen (16) units of competency:
- eleven (11) core units plus
- five (5) elective units.

Elective units must ensure the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome. The electives are to be chosen as follows:
- Select three (3) units from list below
- two (2) unit may be selected from may be selected from units aligned to Certificates II, III or IV in this or any other endorsed Training Package or Accredited CourseSelected units must be relevant to job outcomes in nursery production and must be chosen to ensure the integrity of the qualification outcome at AQF level 3.
