Description

This qualification applies to people working in the marina industry performing a range of tasks such as berthing, mooring and storage of vessels and a range of boatyard tasks connected to sailing, cruising and general boating.
This qualification applies to individuals who provide assistance under supervision in the operational management of the marina.

Packaging Rules
Total number of units = Fourteen (14)
- Ten (10) core units, plus
- Four (4) elective units.

Up to two (2) of the four (4) elective units may be imported from any relevant nationally endorsed Training Package. The general elective units must contribute to the vocational outcomes of the qualification and must be relevant to the job role, work outcome, enterprise, and individual needs.

Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisite units specified are complied with.

Where a prerequisite is attached to a unit it is identified by the symbol ∟ on Training.gov.au (TGA).
