Description

This qualification applies to individuals working in the multimedia sector in roles such as a content author, graphic design assistant, website designer, print press worker or desktop publisher. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, design and author multimedia information, create electronic documents, manipulate databases and information systems. They may also provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others

Total number of units = Nineteen (19) units
Four (4) core units, plus
Fifteen (15) elective units of which:

- Nine (9) elective units must be from Group A
- Two (2) elective units must be from Group A or Group B
- Two (2) elective units must be selected from Group B
- the remaining Two (2) elective units may be selected from the remaining elective units, from other qualifications in this Training Package or any other endorsed Training Package, or from an accredited course at Certificate III or IV level.

Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.
