This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of education settings, including public and independent schools and community education settings, who provide assistance and support to teachers and students under broad-based supervision.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Total number of units = seventeen(17)
- twelve (12) core units
- five (5) elective units, of which:
- at least three (3) must be selected from the elective units list
- up to two (2) units may be selected from any endorsed Training Packages or accredited courses relevant to the work outcome.

All electives chosen must contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.
