Total number of units = six (6)
- four (4) core units plus
- two (2) elective units of which
- two (2) units may be selected from the electives listed below or any currently endorsed training package qualification or accredited course at Certificate I or II level.

Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid vocational outcome.
