Description

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have not yet entered the workforce, and are developing the necessary skills in preparation for work. They may undertake a variety of simple tasks under close supervision.
This qualification provides a range of introductory skills and knowledge to provide individuals with an understanding of the business environment.

Total number of units = Six (6)
Two (2) core units plus
Four (4) elective units, of which:
- two (2) elective units must be selected from the elective units listed below
- for the remaining two (2) elective units:
- up to two (2) units may be selected from the elective units listed below
- if not listed, up to two (2) units may be selected from a Certificate I or Certificate II from this or any other currently endorsed Training Package qualification or accredited course.

Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.
