Description

This specialist qualification covers the competencies required of road transport regulatory staff engaged in operational supervision, auditing, intelligence or prosecution. The qualification has four separate streams to cater for each of these roles.
Electives should be chosen to reflect the responsibilities of the individual and the job skills required for effective performance. Where a free choice of electives is possible in the packaging rules electives may be chosen to reflect the work context and career plans of the individual. Training delivery and assessment related to this qualification must be contextualised to the road transport regulatory environment.

Choose an elective stream:

1) OPERATIONAL SUPERVISION STREAM:
Eleven (11) units are required for this stream:
- three (3) core units, and
- all four (4) Operational supervision stream units, and
- our (4) elective units from Group A Operational Supervision, alternatively, up to two (2) electives may be taken from anywhere within this Training Package, or from another endorse Training Package or accredited course at this qualification level or higher, expect as stated

2) AUDIT STREAM
Eleven (11) units of competency are required for this stream:
- three (3) core units
- all four (4) audit stream units, and
- one (1) unit from Group B Safety, and
- three (3) units from Group C Audit or from anywhere within this Training Package, or from another endorse Training Package or accredited course at this qualification level or higher, expect as stated

3) INTELLIGENCE STREAM
Eleven (11) units are required for this stream:
- three (3) core units, and
- three (3) intelligence stream units, and
- one (1) unit from Group B Safety, and
- four (4) units from Group D Intelligence, alternatively, up to two (2) electives may be taken from anywhere within this Training Package, or from another endorse Training Package or accredited course at this qualification level or higher, expect as stated

4) PROSECUTION STREAM
Eleven (11) units are required for this stream:
- three (3) core units, and
- two (2) prosecution stream units, and
- one (1) unit from Group B Safety, and
- five (5) units from Group E Prosecution, alternatively, up to two (2) electives may be taken from anywhere within this Training Package, or from another endorse Training Package or accredited course at this qualification level or higher, expect as stated

Elective units selected from other Training Packages or accredited courses must not duplicate units selected from or available within PSP12 Public Sector Training Package.
