Description

This qualification allows learners to develop basic knowledge and skills to prepare for work in the visual arts, craft and broader creative industries. It is suitable for delivery in schools and local communities. There are no direct job outcomes from this qualification.

Total number of units = six (6)
three (3) core units plus
three (3) elective units

The elective units consist of:
- up to three (3) from the list of elective units below
- up to three (3) from Certificate I or II in any currently endorsed Training Package
- one (1) may be from an accredited course at Certificate I or II.

The elective units chosen must be relevant to the work outcome and meet local industry needs.
