Delivery of training to be organised by the registered training provider. 11. ELECTIVES
After taking into account the nominal hours required for the core modules and the selected strand, customisers of particular traineeships should include additional elective modules up to the 400 nominal hour limit. It is essential that trainees select some electives from an alternative functional strand, not otherwise undertaken by the trainee, in order to incorporate a second range of basic skills to reflect the multi-skilling requirements of the Certificate II in Hospitality Practices (Traineeship). It will be necessary for pre-requisite modules to be completed. These electives can be selected from: - the following list - functional strands not otherwise undertaken by the trainee - other accredited modules including enterprise-specific, tourism and hospitality modules up to and including Level 3.
