Description

This qualification reflects the role of individuals working as entry level dancers in the live performance industry. Individuals are expected to demonstrate application of foundational skills and knowledge for routine activities expected for dance and live performance contexts.
The job roles that relate to this qualification may include ensemble dancer.

Packaging Rules
Total number of units = thirteen (13)
- Five (5) core units plus
- Eight (8) elective units, of which:
- at least two (2) must be from Group A
- at least two (2) must be from Group B
- of the remaining elective units:
- all may be from Group A, Group B and/or Group C
- up to two (2) may be from this or any other currently endorsed Certificate III or above training package qualification or accredited course
- One (1) may be from this or any other currently endorsed Certificate II or above training package qualification or accredited course.

Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the overall integrity of the AQF alignment, not duplicate the outcome of another unit chosen for the qualification, and contribute to a valid industry-supported vocational outcome.
