Description

Rationale:
This qualification is for those engaged in stevedoring within the transport and logistics industry who undertake a range of tasks involving known routines and procedures, and take some responsibility for the quality of work outcomes.
Successful achievement of the licensing units within the qualification must align with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.

Packaging Rules
A successful assessment outcome for a total of sixteen (16) units of competency comprising:
- eight (8) core units, plus
- five (5) technical elective units from the Group A technical elective units, plus
- three (3) elective units from the general elective units listed.

Alternatively up to three (3) units from any remaining Group A technical elective units or, with appropriate contextualisation, from this Training Package or any currently endorsed national Training Package or accredited course.

Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisites specified in the unit are complied with.
